The threat from animal rights groups becomes greater every day. The MFHA has been a leader in fighting for the right to hunt with hounds. Indeed we are the only hound organization that receives regular media attention when issues with hunting with hounds occur. We did not seek this responsibility, nor do we have the funds that would allow us to properly address these issues. This mission has been thrust upon us because we are well organized and have been willing to stand in the front line fighting for the country lifestyles that are the fabric of our history and heritage. We accept this responsibility. We promote and support many country issues essential to hunting with hounds including equestrian sports, conservation issues, and the preservation of wildlife and habitat.

All who love and respect the wholesome heritage of country life and field sports are invited to become Subscribing Members of the MFHA. The new membership is not limited to foxhunters. Those who hunt with Beagles, Bassets, pointers, or retrievers may join. Subscribing Membership in the MFHA is open to anyone who cares about the future of country lifestyles and wants their voice and vote to make a difference. As a Subscribing Member of the MFHA, you will be taking a pro-active step in defense of your lifestyle by becoming part of an Association on the front line of the battle to preserve hunting with hounds and country life for future generations. Annual dues for Subscribing Members are $35.00.

Sportsmans Alliance

The U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance (Fomerly the Wildlife Legislative Fund of America 'WLFA') provides direct lobbying and grassroots coalition support to protect and advance the rights of hunters, fishermen, trappers and scientific wildlife management professionals. This is accomplished through coalition building, ballot issue campaigning and legislative and government relations. Contributions to the U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance, a 501 (C) 4 organization, are not tax deductible unless you are in an outdoors related industry.

The U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance Foundation protects and defends America's wildlife conservation programs and the pursuits -- hunting, fishing and trapping -- which generate the money to pay for them. The U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance Foundation is responsible for public education, legal defense and research. Its mission is accomplished through several distinct programs, coordinated to provide the most complete defense capability possible. Contributions to the U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance Foundation, a 501(C) 3 organization, are tax deductible.

Countryside-Alliance Organization (U.K.)
The Countryside Alliance's purpose is to campaign for the countryside, country sports and the rural way of life. Through campaigning, lobbying, publicity and education the Alliance seeks to influence legislation and public policy to ensure the sustainability of rural life.

Felix's Fight the Ban U.K.

Felix the Fox is a rallying call to all those who wish to keep on hunting.
Felix aims to keep hunting in the public spotlight via a series of humourous publicity stunts. These efforts to ridicule the government are much more than mockery, they represent the rural underbelly of this country who will not lie down and accept the Hunting Act.

misunderstanding, misinformation, prejudice and intolerance to which hunting is persistently subjected.
